With a major earthquake that happened this week in Colombia, we are partnering with ERDO our denominational Emergency Relief and Development Agency, to respond to the significant and growing need to help provide food, water and other essential supplies to families affected by the quake. On Saturday, September 12, we're gathering for Engage Prayer + Worship. This is a powerful one-hour prayer and worship experience for our whole church. Come expectant as we gather to seek God and create space for Him to move. Join us in person at our Mill Woods Campus or online (live.hopecity.ca). Wherever you are, you’re invited to be part of what God is doing. Children’s programming is available for ages 0 through Grade 4 at the Mill Woods Campus, where kids will have their own meaningful time of worship and prayer, experiencing God in a way that speaks to them.

Connecting Point is all about finding your next. On Thursday, September 10th (Mill Woods campus only) and Sunday, September 13th (all campuses), we’ll launch our new groups, incredible serve opportunities, and many other ways to get connected at Hope City. Check out our lobbies across all campuses to find your next!

On Sunday, September 20 at 3 PM, come and learn the heart behind Hope City. If you are newer here, this Discovery Class is for you. It gives a great orientation to our church – who we are, what we believe, why we exist, and what we value. 

Share the hope you have with the people you love and invite someone to Alpha. Alpha is a series of fun dinner and group conversation evenings centered around exploring the big questions of life, spirituality, and faith in a laid-back and non-judgmental environment. It’s for those who want to explore or are rethinking their faith. If you are curious, skeptical, or just have honest questions, bring them to Alpha and explore them with new friends! Courses begin at the end of September.

If you’ve decided to follow Christ, it’s time to get baptized. Whether you made that decision last night, last year, or maybe a long time ago – baptism is your next step. When we read the Bible, we see that Jesus calls his followers to be baptized, and He set the example by being baptized. This public declaration of faith is an important next step.

Life is better when we're connected and there's something powerful about finding people who encourage you and grow alongside you.
