Comparison can seem harmless, but it can slowly convince us that we’re better than we actually are. In this message, Pastor Phil Kniesel looks at Jesus’ parable of the Pharisee and the tax collector in Luke 18 and the danger of spiritual pride.
Jesus reminds us that our standing before God isn’t based on how we compare to someone else or how good we can make ourselves look. We all need the same grace and mercy, and true humility begins when we stop pretending and recognize how much we need Jesus.
